NFL Players Stand for Justice

It is common for politicians, celebrities, and other cultural influencers to be offered free propaganda trips to Israel. For example, the AIEF non-profit arm of the pro-Israel AIPAC lobby spent $12.9 million in 10 years to provide free trips to Israel for 363 lawmakers and 657 congressional staffers. In 2017, Seattle Seahawks player Michael Bennett decided to skip a trip sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, which was offered to a group of NFL athletes. His decision inspired 6 other players to do the same.
